Accessibility Statement

Clay Broussard Office Interiors is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

1. Standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We test with keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom to 200%, and current versions of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

2. Measures taken

• Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
• A “skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Visible keyboard focus styles on links, buttons and form fields.
• Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds for body and interface text.
• Animations disabled automatically for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
• Form fields with visible, programmatically associated labels and clear error messages.
• Responsive layout that reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling on small screens.

3. Known limitations

Some project photographs contain detail that cannot be fully conveyed in a short alt text; where the detail matters we describe it in the surrounding text. Third-party embedded content, if added in future, may not meet the same standard.

4. Accessibility of the spaces we design

Accessibility is not only a website matter. Every plan we produce is reviewed against the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, covering door clearances, accessible routes, reach ranges, turning circles, reception counter heights and tactile signage. If your project has requirements beyond the minimum standard, tell us at the walkthrough and we will design to them.
